Here, the prized ‘Garden’ design, executed with dazzling sensitivity in the juxtaposition of vigorous colors, features continuous evidence of spontaneity, expressing the unaffected aesthetic of its creative folk art weavers from the outskirts of the town of Bijar, who have incorporated a great amount of energetic movement into this iteration. Each weeping willow or flame-like cypress motif is creatively deconstructed to its most essential forms. Abrash color striations subtly provide an inner luminescence to the bold, graphic symbolism of the Tree devices, arrayed in a casual symmetry.
