This exquisite antique Persian Tabriz rug dates to circa 1880 and originates from the renowned weaving city of Tabriz in northwest Iran. It showcases a grand central medallion in deep rose and ivory tones, surrounded by an elaborate floral field teeming with palmettes, arabesques, and boteh motifs.

The rug measures approximately 9′ 2" × 12′ 4" (279 × 376 cm) and is hand-knotted in lustrous Kork wool on a cotton foundation, yielding an exceptionally soft pile and vivid natural dyes that have aged to a warm, harmonious palette.

Condition is very good for its age, with even pile and original selvedges intact. A certificate of authenticity is available upon request. Perfect for living rooms, dining areas, or a collector’s gallery.
